Dedicated to restoring and protecting the quality of the Little Anderson Creek Watershed.

About US

Little Anderson Creek begins as beaver ponds in the Newberry Hill Heritage Park and flows through two main channels, picking up tributaries along the way, until it empties into the Hood Canal at Anderson Landing Preserve.  Our group represents  government, tribal, and NGO organizations working to protect it in its course.

Wildlife Foresty Project in NHHP

Kitsap County's Forest Stewardship Program just finished it's first season of restorative thinning in the headwaters of Little Anderson Creek in the Newberry HIll Heritage Park.  Under the auspices of Forester Arno Bergstrom, the first steps to transform a Douglas fir monoculture plantation into a healthy, diverse forest were highly successful.
